Reverend Donald Wesley Smith (1931-2024) was a man of great character and resilient spirit, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew him. His life was dedicated to sharing the teachings of the Bible and providing pastoral guidance to those in need.

As a devoted son, brother, husband, father, and friend, Reverend Smith exemplified compassion, strength, and warmth in his interactions with others. Despite facing personal tragedies, including the loss of his wife and eldest son, he remained steadfast in his faith and commitment to helping others.

Known for his gentle demeanor, articulate manner, and charming presence, Reverend Smith approached life with a quiet determination and unwavering hope. Throughout his struggles with depression and anxiety, he showed remarkable resilience and perseverance, believing that faith in  God would strengthen him to endure any obstacle.

For nearly 55 years, Reverend Smith shared a deep and loving marriage with his wife Joanne (Seander), a relationship that was a source of joy and support for both. His dedication to living a life pleasing to God served as a guiding principle in all he did, inspiring those around him to do the same.
